Frequently asked questions
Are travel vaccine prices per dose or per course?
Both are shown. The first price is per dose, and where a vaccine needs more than one dose the course total appears alongside it.
Do children’s vaccines cost less?
Some do. Children’s hepatitis B is £35 a dose and the children’s combined hepatitis A and B vaccine is £55 a dose. See the paediatric table.
Do I pay a consultation fee as well?
The £20 consultation fee is waived if you go ahead with a vaccine or other treatment afterwards.
Are any travel vaccines free on the NHS?
Some can be free from your GP surgery. Brighton Hill Pharmacy explains which ones on its travel vaccinations page.
